Reznikoff Custom Furniture Inc. (RCF) announces their work’s latest inclusion in the April 2014 copy of ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST. The project within the pages describes the Hill Country home of the SK Ranch property, with architectural design by the renown firm of Lake | Flato Architects.
The article, titled “Compound Interest” p.119, describes the home which holds significant contributions from RCF Inc. The kitchen has an island finished with a special stain on white oak. Cabinet doors are made from blackened steel frames holding satine glass panels and shelving finished with a seed-pearl white lacquer. Both thecabinet frames and the vent-a-hood were constructed in coordination with RCF by Cactus Max Fine Metal Artwork of San Antonio. (see photo of kitchen - scroll to bottom of page…)
Also displayed are bunk beds (p.124) with a ladder of blackened steel custom made by Kirby Sheet Metal, Fort Worth. A desk, finished in seed pearl white lacquer with ebonized walnut top is a complement to the interior design. In the bath, RCF produced an exterior for the white cube tub from Shou Shugi Ban treated yellow cypress and finished in a marine varnish.
